Samuel Dunér is a Swedish director and cinematographer working between Sweden ad Scotland. His work spans documentary, dance film, features, music videos, art installations and experimental moving image.
He is drawn to film for its directness: a language that works beyond words, able to reach the subtle, often unspoken anxieties of the human condition.
Recent credits include lighting on the BAFTA Scotland–nominated feature Tummy Monster and Scottish Ballet's first feature film, These Violent Delights. He holds a BA (Hons) in Film from Screen Academy Scotland at Edinburgh Napier University, graduating with First Class Honours.
